2. Object of the Processing

The Controller processes personal identification data (specifically: Name, Surname, Company Name/Company, Email) communicated by you when filling out the request form to download information material (University of Urbino Microbiological Test Report).

3. Purpose of the Processing

Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:

A) Service Purposes (Download and Contact):

 

• To allow the download or sending via email of the requested technical PDF document (“University of Urbino Microbiological Test Report – SANIFY 8000 Prototype”).

 

• To contact the interested party again (via email or telephone, if provided) to verify the correct receipt of the document, collect technical feedback, or propose commercial insights related to the product illustrated in the report, by virtue of legitimate business interest (B2B context).

B) Marketing Purposes (Optional):

 

• Only subject to your specific and distinct consent (via a specific checkbox, if present), to send you via email newsletters, commercial communications, and/or advertising material on products or services offered by the Controller other than those subject to the current request.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

 
• For purpose (A): The processing is necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the data subject (the request for the PDF and technical information).
 

• For purpose (B): The processing is based on the consent of the data subject.

5. Methods of Processing and Retention

The processing of personal data is carried out by means of the operations indicated in Art. 4 no. 2) GDPR and precisely: collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, use, communication, cancellation, and destruction of data. Personal data are subjected to both paper and electronic and/or automated processing.

The Controller will process personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the above purposes and in any case for no more than 24 months from collection for marketing purposes, subject to renewal of consent.

6. Recipients of Data

Your data may be made accessible for the purposes indicated above:

 

• To employees and collaborators of the Controller, in their capacity as persons in charge and/or internal data processors and/or system administrators.

 

• To third-party companies or other subjects (e.g., website providers, email marketing service providers such as [INSERT SOFTWARE NAME E.G. MAILCHIMP/ACTIVECAMPAIGN IF USED], professional firms) who carry out outsourcing activities on behalf of the Controller, in their capacity as external data processors. The data will not be disseminated.

7. Data Transfer

Personal data are stored on servers located within the European Union. It is in any case understood that the Controller, should it become necessary, will have the right to move the servers also outside the EU (e.g., USA cloud services). In this case, the Controller hereby ensures that the transfer of non-EU data will take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

8. Rights of the Data Subject

In your capacity as a data subject, you have the rights referred to in Art. 15 GDPR and precisely the rights to:

 

• Obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning you;

 

• Obtain the indication of the origin of the data, the purposes and methods of the processing;

 

• Obtain the updating, rectification, or integration of the data;

 

• Obtain the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law;

 

• Oppose, in whole or in part, the processing of personal data concerning you.
